Why hire a wedding day coordinator?

Many North Carolina venues today require that you hire a coordinator for the day of the event.

The Charlotte venue representative is normally very busy welcoming the wedding guests and taking care of their needs. They are in charge of watching over the facility and staff, and protecting the integrity of the wedding space.

The last thing they need is to be tasked with running the wedding rehearsal and dealing with the entire wedding party and details on the wedding day. The caterer, whether they are working for the venue, or brought in from outside, must concentrate on preparing and serving the food.

We start with a comprehensive consultation with the bride once the coordination “day of” service is booked.  We get to know the bride and make a list of vendors and plans already in progress. WHAT IS THE COST?

Complete wedding planning can be very costly.  Many couples, today, choose to hire a wedding day coordinator and do the initial planning themselves to save costs.

The day of coordination can range from $800 to around $2,600 as reported by bridal magazines (after research from brides around the country). My fees are very reasonable and I will work with the bride to allow several payments for wedding day coordination.  It begins at $1,000 for day-of ceremony coordination and full-service coordination is $1,500 which includes my presence at the wedding and reception.

WHAT ABOUT TRAVEL?

If travel is involved, the price may increase.  This fee will depend upon the region, but is mostly based upon the scope of the service needed for any specific event.  I will need to meet with you to determine exactly how much coverage is needed, how many hours required and other criteria.

You will now be able to enjoy your wedding day, The amount of money spent on wedding needs can be in the thousands of dollars.  A wedding day coordinator will cost only a small part of this (normally only 10 percent) of the cost of other items.
